Barnsley defender Luke Potter out after knee surgery

Barnsley

Barnsley left-back Luke Potter has been ruled out for between four and six weeks following knee surgery.

Potter, 21, picked up an injury to the medial cartilage in his left knee in Saturday's defeat by Leicester City.

Barnsley physio Chris Burton told the club website: "He will have a minor operation today and will be able to start his rehab work from Monday."

Potter joins fellow full-backs Wolves loanee Matt Hill (foot) and Jay McEveley (knee) on the sidelines.
