Barnsley have recalled Nathan Joynes from his loan spell at Halifax Town.
Striker Joynes, 21, heads back to Oakwell after scoring four times in six starts for the Conference club.
With Barnsley missing out on a move for Port Vale's Leon Constantine, boss Simon Davey wants Joynes back to help his side's survival fight.
However, the move comes as a blow to Halifax, who have also lost the services of new signing Darryn Stamp to a hamstring injury.
