Barnsley snap up Reid
Paul Reid
Reid will run out at Oakwell on Saturday
Barnsley have signed Northampton Town midfielder Paul Reid on a two-year contract for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old passed a medical on Wednesday and will make his debut for club against Leicester on Saturday.

Reid began his career at Carlisle before moving to Rangers, and later had a loan spell at Preston.

He joined Northampton on loan in December 2002 and agreed a permanent move the following summer, making 84 appearances for the club.
