Hodges get Tykes job
Barnsley are struggling to avoid relegation
Glyn Hodges has been appointed manager of Barnsley until the end of the season
after four months in charge on a caretaker basis.
Hodges said: "Results will determine whether I get the job for longer. "But I've taken it on and despite the way things have gone since I took over I have enjoyed it and now I've a chance to wheel and deal and we'll see how things go." Embroiled in a relegation struggle, Barnsley are 20th in the Third Division table, ahead of Mansfield on goal difference, but having played a game more than Keith Curle's side.
