Barnet have penalty reduced by FA

Barnet

League Two side Barnet have had their suspended £5,000 fine for poor disciplinary behaviour reduced to £2,000 by the Football Association.

The club earned the reprieve after dramatically improving their dismal disciplinary record last season.

Manager Paul Fairclough introduced a system in which only the captain spoke to the referee during a match.

And the FA have decided the London club should be rewarded for setting such a good example.
