Hendon is delighted to continue his work at Barnet
Barnet assistant boss Ian Hendon has signed a new two-year deal with the club, to continue working alongside manager Paul Fairclough.
Former Tottenham defender Hendon retired from playing a year ago and became a coach and scout.
He said: "I am delighted with the deal. Barnet has been such a big part of my life for the past five years."
Barnet chairman Tony Kleanthous said: "Ian has brought something extra to the training ground in his role."
Hendon captained Barnet on their return to the Football League and spent hours this season travelling to watch matches looking for potential new signings for the Bees.
He added: "I am looking to help Paul to continue the improvement the team has shown since getting back into the League - next season the aim is a play-off place."
