Goalkeeper Rob Beckwith has signed a contract with Barnet after impressing during pre-season.
Beckwith, 22, played in the friendlies against Northwood, St Albans, Histon, Crystal Palace and Watford and did enough to be offered a full-time deal.
The former Luton player passed a medical on Thursday.
Meanwhile the club have signed seven young players as cover for the coming season, including 18-year-old winger Danny Hart from Boreham Wood.
The other signings are goalkeeper Philip Carpenter, defenders Daniel Awolesi and Rickelle Christian, midfielders Joseph Owusu Tabiri and Dean Mason and striker Ryan Mattos.
All the signings are 18 years old, except Carpenter who is 17.
