Veteran midfielder Andy Hessanthaler has signed a new one-year extension to his contract at Barnet.
Hessenthaler has been persuaded not to retire
The former Gillingham player/manager will be 41 a fortnight into the new season in August.
Hessenthaler joined the Bees in the January transfer window after 10 years and 326 games for the Gills.
He told the club website: "I was thinking about retiring. But I had a chat with Paul Fairclough and he convinced me to stay for another year."
