Ashley Young joined Aston Villa from Watford in 2007 for £9.65m
Aston Villa winger Ashley Young has signed a new four-year deal with the Premier League outfit.
Young joined the club in January 2007 from Watford costing Villa nearly £10m at the time.
The 23-year-old has impressed this term scoring four times in 17 appearances with Villa currently fifth in the Premier League table.
Young, who has won three England caps, has signed a contract that will see him stay at Villa Park until 2012.
With his contract he follows John Carew, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Wilfred Bouma and Craig Gardner, who have all signed new long-term deals at Villa since the end of last season.
