Alpay was in the World Cup XI last summer

Unsettled Aston Villa defender Alpay Ozalan has asked the club and manager Graham Taylor to give him a second chance.
Alpay was put on the transfer list after his impressive showing at last summer's World Cup but no move has materialised for the Turkish international.
The centre-back has played only four games for the Midlands club this season but wants to put his troubles at Villa Park behind him and force his way back into the first team.
"I want to forget everything," said Alpay. "Enough is enough. I want to prove myself to Aston Villa's supporters and the club.
"I've put everything behind me and I want to play again. I want a second chance.
"I miss all the cheering when I walk out to play for Villa.
"At the moment all that is important to me is proving myself to those fans.
"I will give 100% to see that day - and we'll see what happens."
