Bendtner signed a new long-term deal with Arsenal in September
Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner faces at least four weeks on the sidelines after picking up a groin injury during the Gunners 3-0 win over Tottenham.
The 21-year-old Dane was replaced by Eduardo after 37 minutes of the north London derby at The Emirates.
Boss Arsene Wenger said: "He's got a groin problem, it's quite serious and he could be out four weeks at least."
Two Robin van Persie goals and one from Cesc Fabregas earned Arsenal the win which keeps them third in the league.
Bendtner has played 13 times for the Gunners this season scoring three times. His winning goal against Liverpool on Wednesday sent Arsenal into the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup.
The Dane joined Arsenal in 2005 from FC Copenhagen and signed a new long-term contract at the club in September.
