Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg could be on his way to Fiorentina, according to his agent.
"The two clubs are in discussions," said Claes Elefalk. "If they can come to an agreement, then Fredrik can think
about looking closer at a move."
Ljungberg, 30, struggled with injury last season, making 26 appearances.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger said in January he wanted to keep the Swedeen international, who has a contract to stay at the club until 2009.
Ljungberg joined the Gunners from Halmstads for £3m in September 1998.
