Wenger brushes aside Madrid links
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger
Wenger is under contract at Arsenal until May 2008
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says he is committed to the London club after Real Madrid president Florentino Perez said he was a fan of the Frenchman.

Speculation over Madrid coach Wanderley Luxemburgo's future at the Bernabeu has grown since the 3-0 loss to Barcelona.

"Jose Mourinho and Fabio Capello are two of the world's best. I have another name for you, Wenger. I like him very much," Perez told a radio interview.

Wenger responded: "That's nice of him but until 2008 I have glue on my seat."

Gunners striker Thierry Henry has also been linked with a move to the Spanish giants.

Arsenal's record goal-scorer is out of contract in 2007 and has refused to discuss a new deal until the new year.

David Beckham would love Henry join him at the club, but Wenger is keen to see his fellow Frenchman stay at Arsenal.

"For me, Thierry Henry is the best striker in the world so we would prefer to keep him here," said Wenger.
