Sol Campbell has revealed he has agreed to sign a new contract with Arsenal.
The 30-year-old England defender's current deal runs out at the end of the season and he could have left the club on a free transfer next summer.
But he said: "It's all agreed. There are just a few things left to sort out. Most of them are already sorted out, it's just the legal technicalities.
"Most things are done. There's just a little bit of organising to do. I'm here and it's fine, I'm happy with it."
Campbell recently emphasised he wanted to sign a new contract and he could now finish his career at Highbury.
He has effectively taken a wage reduction from his previous deal, which saw a huge signing-on fee spread over his contract after his arrival on a Bosman free transfer from arch-rivals Tottenham.
He added: "If I'm here for a long time, then I couldn't really see myself playing for someone else.
"But who knows? If I'm 35 or 36 and I've still got the desire, then who can say?"
