![]() Wenger's Arsenal clinched the Double at Old Trafford
Arsene Wenger has landed his second double of a successful season after picking up two end-of-season managerial awards.
The Frenchman was named Barclaycard Manager of the Year and the League Managers' Association Manager of the Year.
Wenger was rewarded for guiding Arsenal to the FA Cup and Premiership Double. He received his award prior to Tony Adams' testimonial against Celtic on Monday night. Sweden's Freddie Ljungberg, one of the Gunners' instrumental players this term, has picked up the Barclaycard Player of the Year accolade. In another award for the Highbury club, striker Thierry Henry was the Golden Boot winner. Meanwhile, Bobby Robson's achievement in guiding Newcastle into the Champions League next season has earned him the Barclaycard Merit Award.
