SPL youth duo join Red Lichties

Arbroath

Arbroath have brought in two youths from the Scottish Premier League to cover for injuries.

Kilmarnock striker Daniel McKay and the versatile Kenny McLean from St Mirren will be with the Second Division outfit for a month.

The 18-year-old McKay has yet to make his first-team debut with Killie but has received plaudits for his form with the club's under-19 side.

The 17-year-old McLean can play in midfield and in defence.

Both players could make their debuts in Saturday's Second Division match against Stirling Albion at Gayfield.
