Gilfillan rejected an offer from former club Cowdenbeath
Midfielder Bryan Gilfillan has signed for a second time with Annan Athletic after returning to Scotland from playing in Australia.
The 24-year-old had a short spell with Annan last season during the close season in Australia but returned to rejoin Sunshine Coast in February.
However, he has now left the Queensland State League club.
Gilfillan said: "I had very good offers from Cowdenbeath and Forfar Athletic, but Annan worked hard to get me."
The former Northern Ireland Under-21 midfielder, who has a home in Annan from his days playing for Gretna, is to work with a local building company and has signed a one-year deal with Annan.
Gilfillan started his career with Inverness Caledonian Thistle before spells with Cowdenbeath, Gretna, Stranraer and Peterhead.
