Aldershot Town sign Greg Pearson and Charlie Henry on loan

Aldershot Town have completed the loan signings of Burton striker Greg Pearson and Luton midfielder Charlie Henry.

Pearson joins on loan until 7 January, while Henry will be with the League Two club until 22 January.

Pearson, 26, has been restricted to two appearances for the Brewers this season after breaking a toe in August.

Winger Henry, 24, played under Shots boss Dean Holdsworth at Newport County and made his debut for Luton last month following a long-term injury.

Holdsworth told BBC Surrey: "Greg is a player I've looked at for quite a while. There's been a bit of a burden for Danny Hylton with scoring goals and I wanted us to have another option.

"Charlie is a player who has great ability and he's chomping at the bit to be involved with us.

"He's been out for a while but it's not a gamble - he'll add to our squad."

Meanwhile Shots youngster Adam Mekki has joined Blue Square Bet South outfit Basingstoke Town on loan.
