Aldershot release Glen Little and sign Alex Rodman
Veteran Little did not feature in Dean Holdsworth's plans
New Aldershot Town manager Dean Holdsworth has made his most significant move yet by releasing veteran midfielder Glen Little.
The 35-year-old ex-Reading winger was signed by Kevin Dillon in the summer.
He made 14 appearances in 25 League fixtures but has not featured in any of Holdsworth's three games in charge.
The Shots have signed 23-year-old Tamworth winger Alex Rodman who has scored 10 goals so far this season, and received an England C call-up.
Rodman's tally included a hat-trick in Holdsworth's final game as manager of Newport County.
He has recently played for Nuneaton Borough, Gainsborough Trinity, Grantham and Leamington and goes into the Aldershot squad to face Gillingham on Saturday.
Little has recently been struggling with a hamstring injury, and has moved on to seek first-team football after over 500 career games.
