Aldershot striker Marvin Morgan happy to share goals
Marvin Morgan was Aldershot's top scorer last season - with 16 goals
Aldershot Town leading marksman Marvin Morgan is keen to share goal-scoring responsibilities with his team-mates.
The 27-year-old striker is the club's top scorer with five goals this season, but Wade Small has now weighed in with three goals in his last four games.
And Morgan told BBC Surrey: "I can't think it's 'The Marvin Morgan Show' and and that I've got to be selfish.
"But I'm happy other players are chipping in with the goals. It'll be better for competition."
He added: "I think the pressure was on me to score the goals I did in pre-season. When I didn't I think we struggled."
Morgan has praised former Sheffield Wednesday and Chesterfield player Small for his impact since coming into the side.
"Wade has waited patiently for his time to get into the team," said Morgan. "Now he's taken his chance and is scoring goals.
"I'm glad that we've got him in. He's come into the club and the players can learn from him because he speaks sense."
The Shots, who are 14th in League Two, face their biggest test of the season on Saturday, at home to Chesterfield.
