Shots hitman Grant slams critics

Aldershot striker John Grant is unhappy with press reports criticising his recent League Two performances.

The 27-year-old has been ever-present for Aldershot this season, scoring his first goal of the campaign in the 3-1 defeat at Luton.

Grant told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I was very disappointed with what was said about me after the Shrewsbury game, I won't read that paper again."

Aldershot host Gillingham, who were relegated last season, on Saturday.
