Chalmers swapped relegation fights for promotion challenge
Aldershot midfielder Lewis Chalmers says there will be no sentiment this weekend against former club Altrincham.
The 22-year-old spent three seasons at Moss Lane before being poached by new Shots boss Gary Waddock last June.
Chalmers told BBC Southern Counties Radio: "I've not got a bad word to say about them, but there's still only one team I want to win on Saturday.
"They're fighting for their lives and will make it very hard for us. But I fully expect to get three points."
Chalmers added: "If Altrincham do stay up it'll be a massive achievement. These guys are part-time, finishing jobs at five o'clock and going into training.
"And it gets really hard this time of year when they have games coming thick and fast."
Chalmers expects a defensive approach from Altrincham.

"They'll probably go 4-1-4-1," he said. "Most sides that come and try and give us a game, with the players we've got, we'll beat them - quite convincingly."
Chalmers insists the Aldershot players feel no pressure despite having been top for most of the season.
He said: "Because we're doing so well, we're enjoying it so much. We can't wait to come into training and playing games.
"We know we're getting close, but its not over until we see that little 'c' next to our name."
