Parratt has Scottish Premier League experience with Hamilton
Airdrie United have completed the permanent signing of 23-year-old defender Tom Parratt.
Parratt, who was released by Queen of the South this summer, had impressed in two games as a trialist.
He had played nine times last season for Airdrie's First Division rivals and previously played for Inverness Caledonian Thistle and Hamilton Accies.
Parratt becomes Airdrie's second signing of the week following the capture of striker Diarmuid O'Carroll.
O'Carroll, a former Celtic youth who was with Morecambe last season, missed Saturday's draw with Inverness because he had yet to receive international clearance.
Manager Kenny Black told his club website: "I had the chance to have a look at the lad during the week and he featured in a friendly game against Falkirk last Tuesday, scoring twice."
