Stanley sign Tranmere's Gornell

Accrington Stanley

League Two side Accrington Stanley have signed Tranmere striker Terry Gornell on a one-month loan deal.

The 18-year-old frontman has played once for Rovers, from the bench against Grimsby in the Carling Cup earlier on this season.

Gornell was linked to Premier League sides Everton and Bolton in the summer.

Rovers boss Ronnie Moore told the club website: "At this stage of his career he will benefit from playing first-team football on loan."
