Aberdeen have signed Sone Aluko from Championship outfit Birmingham City.
The 19-year-old winger spent a season-long loan at Pittodrie last season, before returning to City in the summer.
Aluko has signed a three-year deal and Aberdeen's director of football Willie Miller said he would prove to be an important player for the Dons.
"We know what Sone's capable of and he has the ability to change the course of a game. I'm sure the fans will be delighted," Miller said.
The club's director of football added: "Sone knows what to expect and the fact he's agreed to come here permanently is testimony to how much he enjoyed his time here at Aberdeen."
Aluko, who has been capped for England at U19 level, was impressive during his loan spell with the Dons and scored against Bayern Munich in the Uefa Cup.
