Jimmy Calderwood said his side were magnificent against United

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood said his side produced their best performance of the season in the 2-0 win over Dundee United at Pittodrie.
"Considering we have so many big players injured - all credit to the lads who have come in," he said.
"We took the game by the scruff of the neck from the beginning and thoroughly deserved our victory.
"It was a wonderful performance. The movement, vision and the intelligence of the players was very nice to watch."

Calderwood praised Sone Aluko for his performance against United, as the on-loan Birmingham player scored once and threatened throughout.
"You don't want to get close to him because he will leave you for dead," said Calderwood.
