Calderwood said defensive mistakes cost his side dearly

Aberdeen boss Jimmy Calderwood lamented his side's defending after they surrendered the lead and lost 3-1 against Dundee United at Tannadice.
"The annoying thing for me is that the players worked their socks off, but it is stupid defensive mistakes which have cost us," he said.
"You can look at their first goal and there was such a large gap between Michael Hart and Darren Mackie.
"It was amateur stuff," Calderwood added after the game.
The Dons boss said goalkeeper Jamie Langfield was adamant he did not foul David Robertson in the lead up to the penalty for Dundee United's second goal.
"I never saw the penalty, but Jamie says he never touched him (Robertson) and that he dived," said Calderwood.
"But those things go against you when you are not that sharp."
Calderwood conceded his side were fortunate not to concede a first-half penalty when Andrew Considine appeared to foul Collin Samuel in the box.
