Gary Dempsey had feared for his Dons future

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Calderwood has confirmed that midfielder Gary Dempsey will remain at Pittodrie next season.
The former Dunfermline player had been concerned about a lack of first-team opportunities earlier in the season.
But the 25-year-old has become a firm part of Calderwood's plans, starting the Dons' last seven matches.
And the Aberdeen boss said: "Gary has told me he wants to stay here next season, which he is contracted to, and that is really good news."
Meanwhile, Calderwood hopes to announce a replacement within days for departing goalkeeper Ryan Esson.
"There could be an announcement about a goalkeeper this week, but we will just have to wait and see what happens," he said.
Former Dundee United and Scotland goalkeeper Paul Gallagher, who has failed to become a first-team regular since moving to Norwich City, is reportedly a Dons target.
The 26-year-old Esson will leave Aberdeen in the summer after losing his place to Jamie Langfield.
