The "lottery" of penalties Taking a penalty in a World Cup shoot-out is about as tough as it gets - as England players know only too well.

So why do some teams always seem to get it right, and others fail miserably, when put on the spot?

According to mental strength coach Christian Lattanzio, it is all about your state of mind.

"There are several things that a player can do, not only to diminish the pressure, but actually to enjoy the experience," he says.
