Semi-final

Rangers 3-0 Partick Thistle

Christian Nerlinger put paid to Thistle's Cup hopes with a double
Nerlinger grabbed a double against Partick
Rangers eventually kill off Thistle's Scottish Cup dream but they are made to fight all the way for their final place.

Thistle matched their city rivals for most of the game but two goals from Christian Nerlinger and a late strike from Barry Ferguson ended Thistle's faint hopes of a comeback.

Forfar 0-6 Rangers

Billy Dodds returned to form with a hat-trick
Billy Dodds was a hat-trick hero at Forfar

Rangers book a Scottish Cup semi final place with a comfortable win over Forfar at Station Park.

Billy Dodds claimed a hat-trick and Shota Averladze struck twice for the Ibrox club, while Andrei Kanchelskis also pitched in with a goal.

Tore Andre Flo hit a double to sink Hibs
Rangers deservedly beat Hibs to progress to the quarter finals of the Scottish Cup.

The Gers took the lead through Tore Andre Flo, only for Grant Brebner to equalise five minutes later but Peter Lovenkrands put Rangers back in front just before half time and Flo and Billy Dodds sealed the win in the second half.




Third round

Rangers 3-0 Berwick Rangers

Konterman doubled Rangers' lead
After a shock 0-0 draw at Berwick Rangers finally disposed of the Second Division side with three goals in a 10-minute period.

The minnows held out for almost an hour until Lorenzo Amoruso's free kick beat Willie McCulloch in the visitors' goal. Bert Konterman doubled the lead in 66 minutes and Shota Arveladze hit Rangers' third.
