10-man Livvy storm through
East Fife 1-4 Livingston

Ten-man Livingston came from behind to ruthlessly sink the Fifers' Scottish Cup dream with a devastating display.

It looked bleak for the First Division leaders when Barry Moffat gave East Fife the lead and then Steve Tosh was sent off.

But David Bingham, Barry Wilson twice and Gerry Britten scored to kill off the Third Division outfit.

Willie McCulloch and Murray Hunter were both suspended for the Fifers.

But Moffat made the starting line-up despite struggling with a knee injury.

Livingston's on-loan signing, Darren Jackson, was suspended along with Alex Burns, while defender Graham Coughlan was out injured.

Striker Moffatt blasted East Fife into a sixth-minute lead.

Tosh was sent off for a two-footed lunge four minutes later.

Bingham sidefooted home a corner in 31 minutes.

Then Barry Wilson leathered home a glorious strike bang on 45 minutes.

The game was put beyond East Fife when Wilson scored with a deflected 75th minute effort.

Substitute Gerry Britten tapped home a fourth goal in 77 minutes.

It means that East Fife have only won one of the seven meetings between the clubs.
