Dons' Miller wins December award

Miller renewed his contract with Aberdeen last summer

Aberdeen striker Lee Miller has been named Clydesdale Bank Premier League player of the month for December.

The Scotland international scored three goals for the Dons last month as Jimmy Calderwood's side continued their push for European football next season.

Miller, who arrived at Pittodrie in 2006, is Aberdeen's top scorer this season with eight goals.

His latest came in Saturday's 2-1 win over Alloa Athletic in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup.

In November, Miller won his second international cap in Scotland's friendly defeat by Argentina.
