Motherwell P-P Hearts

Fir Park
Fir Park failed a late pitch inspection.

Motherwell's Scottish Premier League match at home to Hearts has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.

The Fir Park surface failed an 1145GMT pitch inspection carried out by referee David Summers.

Motherwell could be in trouble with the SPL over the postponement if it is found that rules regarding undersoil heating were breached.

The match will now be rescheduled, but the SPL has not indicated when it will be likely to take place as yet.
