Hibernian boss Tony Mowbray has signed a contract extension with the Easter Road club.
Mowbray joined Hibernian from Ipswich Town in 2004
The deal, a 12-month rolling contract, will take effect from 1 July 2007. His assistant, Mark Venus, has also pledged himself to the same agreement.
"I genuinely believe Hibernian Football Club is moving into an exciting era," said Mowbray.
"I'm open regarding my long-term goals, but I wanted to remove any uncertainty to help move the club forward."
Mowbray has been linked with previous vacancies at Middlesbrough and Wolves.
We can now move forward together as a team

But now he hopes his new commitment to the Edinburgh club will dampen any further speculation.
"We all witnessed the intense press speculation over the summer regarding my future at the club.
"Our talented players have all signed long-term contracts," he added.
"Also, we are progressing with the plans to establish a dedicated training facility at East Mains, which I have always believed to be very important in the development of our players.
"I am also delighted Mark Venus agreed to extend his contract.
"Now everyone in the football coaching team, including fitness and goalkeeping coaches, can move forward together as a team and realise our ambitions together."
Hibernian chairman Rod Petrie said: "Every Hibernian supporter can see the great progress made over the last two years.
"Naturally, the board is delighted that both Tony and Mark have signed new rolling contracts with the club.
"Tony and Mark joined the club in 2004 and have been very effective in applying their football philosophy and principles."
