Hibernian picked up their first win of the season after demolishing a poor Motherwell side at Easter Road.
Abdessalam Benjelloun was on target at Easter Road
Abdessalam Benjelloun stroked Hibs in front on 33 minutes after skipping past goalkeeper Graeme Smith.
Scott Brown drilled in a low shot after 65 minutes, following a clever one-two with the impressive Merouane Zemmama.
Rob Jones added a header as Hibs tore Motherwell apart with their slick play, while Scott McDonald grabbed a late goal for the visitors.
Hibs gave a debut to Dutch defender Shelton Martin, signed from Darlington this week, while Keith Lasley returned to the Motherwell midfield after rejoining the club.
The home side carved out the first opening after five minutes when Jones headed down Zemmama's cross into the path of Fletcher, whose shot was turned wide by Smith's legs.
Fletcher missed a great chance on 31 minutes after a superb run down the left from Zemmama, whose cut-back took out 'keeper Smith.
The teenager could not turn in time to take advantage of the open goal and Smith touched the ball wide after he eventually dinked in a shot under pressure.
But Hibs went in front a couple of minutes later with a swift attacking move.
A long ball from left-back David Murphy found Brown, who slipped a pass to Benjelloun and the Moroccan striker calmly rounded Smith before rolling his shot home.
Hibs introduced Ivan Sproule at half-time and the speedy Northern Ireland international immediately set up Benjelloun, only for the forward to miss an open goal.
Smith then had to make a wonderful save to claw away a strike from Sproule before Benjelloun shot straight at the 'keeper from a promising position.
With Hibs passing up chances, Motherwell went agonisingly close to an unlikely equaliser when Steven McGarry struck the post with a shot.
Hibs midfielder Michael Stewart then fizzed a powerful effort narrowly wide from distance.
The home support have seen their side dominate teams without killing them off this season but their nerves were settled when a second goal arrived.
Brown and Zemmama exchanged neat passes and the midfielder controlled the ball with his head to run on to slam in a low strike.
Defender Jones saw his header crash back off a post as Hibs continued to surge forward with menace.
Martis then should have grabbed a debut goal but was let down by his chest control when a cloe range header looked the easier option.
The towering Jones was not be denied his first Hibs goal and he bagged a powerful header from a Kevin Thomson corner.
With seconds remaining, Motherwell were gifted a goal after sloppy play from Brown in his own penalty box allowed McDonald to shoot home.
