Dundee Utd 3-1 Livingston
Mark Kerr celebrates his goal at Tannadice
Dundee United scored three second half goals
Dundee United came from behind to record their first victory under Craig Brewster and cast Livingston further adrift at the foot of the table.

Sam Morrow scored his first Livingston goal when he caught out United 'keeper Derek Stillie with a long range strike.

Lee Miller fashioned the equaliser with a sharp shot on the turn that found the target via a post.

Mark Kerr smashed in a fine strike after 77 minutes and Miller found the net from close range soon after.

Livingston are now nine points adrift of second-bottom Falkirk with nine games remaining.

Dundee United made four changes to the side that lost at Hibs last weekend and Brewster got his first win after eight matches in charge.

The visitors had the first sight of goal in the 10th minute when Allan Walker sent Morrow clear, but the striker dragged his shot wide of goal from 15 yards.

The hosts replied when David Fernandez crossed for Lee Miller to send a looping header goalwards, but Livi keeper Roddy McKenzie tipped over.

Livingston were the livelier side and went ahead after 17 minutes when Morrow robbed United's makeshift left-back Barry Robson 25 yards from goal and lashed a powerful effort low into the right-hand corner of Stillie's net.

The SPL bottom club might have grabbed another in the 23rd minute when Walker flashed a shot past Stillie's post.

And the home the keeper had to collect a dangerous David Mackay header two minutes later after Richard Brittain had crossed.

Sam Morrow scored the opener but Livi crashed to defeat

Livi manager John Robertson was sent to the stand in the 30th minute after kicking the ball away in frustration after he thought Morrow had been fouled.

And United almost grabbed a barely-deserved leveller in the 32nd minute when Kerr sent in a cross from the right and David Robertson's header was tipped behind by McKenzie.

The visitors should have extended their lead within two minutes of the restart when Wes Hoolahan got himself in a tangle and failed to get his shot away from just a few yards out.

United had done little until the 68th minute when Gary Kenneth crossed and Miller did well to control the ball just inside the box, before turning to slot a right foot shot in off a post.

The hosts then went ahead when Kerr picked up a knock down from Fernandez and slotted a left-foot shot beyond McKenzie from the edge of the box.

The Tangerines secured victory three minutes later when Miller was on hand to finish from close range for his second strike of the day.
