Rangers boss Alex McLeish will be out to defend the SPL trophy
Rangers begin the defence of their SPL title at home to Livingston as the new season kicks off on 30 July.

Celtic must travel to Motherwell, where their championship hopes were dashed in the final minutes of the last campaign.

Uefa Cup hopefuls Hibernian and Dundee United are both at home on the opening day, with Dunfermline due in Edinburgh and Aberdeen going to Tannadice.

Kilmarnock entertain Hearts at Rugby Park, while newcomers Falkirk play host to Inverness Caley Thistle.

The first Old Firm derby is at Ibrox on Saturday 20 August, while the second weekend of the season sees Hearts host Hibs.
