Caley Thistle chairman Ken Mackie retains hope of promotion
The Scottish Football Association has confirmed it will hear an appeal from Inverness Caley Thistle after they were denied entry to the SPL.

The First Division champions' plan to ground-share with Aberdeen was vetoed at a vote by SPL clubs on Tuesday.

Caley Thistle will await a letter of explanation on their failure to win promotion from the SPL before deciding on the substance of the appeal.

The SFA expects the appeal to be heard towards the end of June.
