Dundee manager Jim Duffy could barely disguise his delight after the derby win over Dundee United.
"I'm ecstatic. It was a magnificent performance - the players gave absolutely everything," he said.
"From Derek Soutar forward, the players were outstanding and I'm delighted by their efforts.
"A lot of people expected us to get beaten here but we've shown that if we work hard, we can compete with the best," he added.
