Three and easy for Livingston
Dadi rises to head home for Livi
Eugene Dadi opened the scoring for Livingston
Livingston 3-0 Partick Thistle

A strong second half performance from in-form Livingston saw the West Lothian side brush Partick Thistle aside at the City Stadium.

Goals from Eugene Dadi, Marvin Andrews and David Bingham saw Livi extend their unbeaten run to seven games.

After a lacklustre first half display, during which Thistle had the best of the chances, the Lions came out fighting in the second 45 minutes and overwhelmed their opponents.

Thistle, who will rue their squandered opportunities, remain in tenth spot in the table with just two wins from 14 games.

Partick started the stronger side and tried to push forward to put the Livingston defence under pressure early in the game.

And the Glasgow side were unlucky not to take the lead after 11 minutes when Alex Burns' 12-yard shot was drilled against the outside of the post.

Livingston were toothless in attack and only the lively Cherif Toure-Maman looked capable of disturbing the well organised Thistle defence.

Thistle were on top in the first half
The visitors came close again after 23 minutes when home goalkeeper Javier Sanchez Broto only just managed to scramble clear a 30-yard curling shot from Martin Hardie.

Broto was busy again ten minutes before the interval, when he had to race off his line to deny Hardie again.

The Thistle striker had been sent clear by Buchan but his attempted chip finished was blocked by the head of the onrushing goalkeeper.

A minute after the re-start the home side took the lead following a blunder by Thistle goalkeeper Kenny Arthur.

He came off his line to collect a Lee Makel cross into the box but he was caught out of position by Dadi who nipped in to bullet home a header.

Three minutes later, the home side doubled their advantage when Andrews was on hand to tap in from a few yards following an Arthur save from Makel.

Bingham made the points safe when he latched on to a long kick from Broto before firing past the Thistle goalkeeper from 16 yards after 58 minutes.

Livingston completely dominated the remainder of play, knocking the ball around with confidence.

Substitute Davide Xausa came close to adding to the home side's lead but his powerful header was tipped over by Arthur.
