Albion Rovers 0-1 Elgin City
Elgin's Colin Milne scored the only goal of a disappointing game to give his side all three points in a 1-0 win at Albion Rovers.

Milne struck in the 63rd minute when he headed home Steven Edwards' long throw-in at the far post.

Albion produced a below-par performance but almost snatched a late equaliser when Stewart Ingram went close with a volley.

Tommy Coyne made his debut for Rovers, but the veteran centre forward was starved of decent service from his new team-mates.

Albion: Fahey, Waldie, Stirling, Tait, Lumsden, Booth, Ryan McMullan, Easton, Coyne, Begue, McKenna.

Subs: Smith, McLees, Ingram, Shearer.

Elgin: Pirie, Edwards, Macdonald, Furphy, Munro, Tulley, Ross, Ellis, Colin Milne, Campbell, David Craig.

Subs: Craig Milne, Irvine, Clinton, Shanks, Rae.

Referee: C Murray
