Falkirk 2-0 Partick Thistle

Falkirk maintained their slim promotion hopes with a win over Partick Thistle, who finished the match with 10 men.

Tam McManus slotted the ball home from Mark Stewart's cross to give the Bairns the lead in first-half injury time.

Thistle's Paul Cairney hit the post with a shot before the visitors' David Rowson was dismissed for picking up a second yellow card.

Stewart converted the hosts' second late on and Falkirk are now six points off Division One leaders Dunfermline.
