Division Two champions Livingston extended their unbeaten league run to 10 games with a stalemate against Ayr.

Livi's 21-goal top-scorer Iain Russell was dismissed for violent conduct in the 36th minute.

Ayr created the better of the chances with Michael Moffat missing the best of those, sending a close-range effort over the bar in the 62nd minute.

Livingston suffered further problems late on with defender Paul watson leaving the field on a stretcher.
