Stirling Albion 0-2 Queen of the South

Two first-half goals gave Queen of the South victory over First Division bottom club Stirling Albion.

Daniel Orsi netted his first senior goal with an 18-yard shot to give the visitors the lead in the fourth minute.

Orsi was soon replaced due to injury but Queens doubled their lead when David Lilley netted from close range.

Gordon Smith had Stirling's best two chances, heading straight at goalkeeper Rod McKenzie in the first half and nodding wide near the end.

Stirling: Christie, Kane, McHale, Buist (Corrigan 33), Forsyth, Welsh (Gibson 86), Robertson, Allison, Borris, Smith, Brighton (Mullen 85).
