Dunfermline missed several good chances to add to their early goal

Bottom of the table Stirling Albion dented Dunfermline's promotion hopes despite playing the entire second half with only 10 men.

The Pars took the lead on five minutes when Andy Kirk drilled home from close range after good work from Joe Cardle.

The visitors squandered several good chances to add to their lead before Ryan Borris hit the net from 25 yards.

Michael Boyle was sent off for violent conduct but Dunfermline could not make their advantage count after the break.
