Eight Scottish Football League games hit by cold snap

Returning cold weather has resulted in eight of Saturday's Scottish Football League matches being postponed.

Stirling Albion v Dunfermline, Cowdenbeath v Partick Thistle and Queen of the South v Ross County are off in the First Division.

In the Second Division, Brechin v Alloa and East Fife v Dumbarton and Livingston v Forfar have fallen victim to frozen pitches.

In Division Three, games at Clyde and Arbroath have been postponed.

There have now been 85 postponements this season in Scotland's First, Second and Third Divisions.

Queen of the South have played only one game between 13 November and 11 January, a 1-0 away defeat by Dunfermline Athletic in mid-December.

Cowdenbeath v Partick Thistle
Queen of the South v Ross County
Stirling Albion v Dunfermline Athletic

Second Division

Brechin City v Alloa Athletic
East Fife v Dumbarton
Livingston v Forfar Athletic

Third Division

Arbroath v East Stirlingshire
Clyde v Albion Rovers
