Stranraer 1-1 Berwick Rangers

Craig Malcolm netted a late equaliser as Stranraer edged one point clear at the top of Division Three.

The third-placed visitors made a flying start as they took the lead in the second minute, Alan Brazil converting Kevin Gordon's cross from six yards.

The lead was almost doubled 20 minutes later but Paul McMullan's strike was well saved by David Mitchell.

Malcolm had an effort saved by keeper Mark Peat but was not to be denied four minutes from time with a low shot.
