Elgin 2-0 Annan

Scottish Football League

Elgin made short work of Annan to collect their third win in four Division Three games and move to within two points of the play-off places.

The home side took the lead after five minutes when Brian Cameron converted a Jason Crooks cross from close range.

Crooks made it 2-0 soon after when he collected Craig Gunn's pass and fired home from the edge of the area.

Annan's best chance of a reply was a low Kevin Neilson shot from 20 yards which Scott Bain did well to keep out.
