Ayr 1-0 Airdrie

Scott McLaughlin's injury-time strike gave Ayr a 1-0 victory over Airdrie.

Mark Roberts was twice denied for Ayr before Airdrie were reduced to 10 men when Ryan Wallace was given his marching orders for a dangerous tackle.

Gary Muir could have scored for the visitors but his shot was parried while David Crawford and Jonathan Tiffoney and Daniel McKay had chances for Ayr.

Ayr struggled to make their advantage count until McLaughlin beat the keeper from 12 yards deep into stoppage time.
