Ayr United welcome back striker Mark Roberts from suspension for the home game with leaders Livingston.
But defensive pair Bobby Donnelly and Willie Easton and winger Alastair Woodburn have all been ruled out through injury.
Livingston manager Gary Bollan is expected to name an unchanged starting line-up for the Division Two game.
But Bollan, who has no new injury or suspension worries, is demanding more from his unbeaten side.
Ayr United manager Brian Reid: "We will not be getting over-excited at the moment as there are only seven games gone and, similarly, I was telling people not to panic when we lost a couple of games earlier in the season.
"We have a lot of new players in the squad and it takes time for everything to gel."
Livingston manager Gary Bollan: "We may be unbeaten, but we feel that we can play better than we have done.
"Hopefully, we can keep the run going and rectify our play with a good performance at Ayr.
"They are on a really good run just now after winning home and away, so we need to be up for this game."
